Easy to Be Hard

Being a follower of Jesus is hard. But once you do it, it gets easier.

It’s hard because you have to turn from your old self. But then his burden is light.

It’s hard because you can be misunderstood for your faith. But his burden is still light.

It’s hard because you’re human and you make mistakes. But then, again, his burden becomes light.

It’s hard because it’s not a one time fix all. It’s just so daily.

But he wasn’t lying when said it.

He said, “My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
